Tickets for the screenings and events being held as part of the festival can now be purchased online or at the box office at Baluarte, the main venue for Punto de Vista
Tickets for Punto de Vista can now be purchased through the usual channels. They are available from today onwards at the Baluarte box office and at www.puntodevistafestival.com, and during the Festival they can also be purchased at a special Punto de Vista box office located in the Baluarte entrance hall. Tickets for screenings cost 3 euros, except for sessions at the Planetarium, which cost 5 euros. X FILMS X sessions at Civivox Condestable will be free providing invitations are collected before 12.00.
At 12.00 on Saturday 29th February the children's session takes place at the Pamplona Planetarium and tickets are on sale now through the Planetarium channels and at www.puntodevistafestival.com. Finally, tickets for the Tacita Dean session at Filmoteca de Navarra on Thursday 5th March and for the Carlos Casas session at the Pamplona Planetarium on Friday 6th march can be purchased through the Baluarte channels and at the festival website, www.puntodevistafestival.com.
The Punto de Vista programme will be organised in seven broad sections: the Official Section, which includes the films selected from more than 1,000 entries from countries all over the world; Retrospectives, with a monographic on Anne Charlotte Robertson, a series devoted to the German film-makers Ute Aurand, Helga Fanderl and Renate Sami and the Chilean Jeannette Muñoz, and the thematic An Oceanic Feeling; DOKBIZIA, a meeting bringing together artists from different disciplines to exchange their ways of relating to reality; Punto de Vista Labs, a space for exchanging knowledge and collective creation; Contemporary Spotlights, monographic sessions where Punto de Vista focuses on some of the most important film-makers on the international scene; Special Sessions, with programmes like that of X Films, the meeting of Basque and Navarrese film-makers entitled Paisaia and a homage to Barbara Hammer, and finally the Educational Programme, which is growing to carry on opening up the Festival to new audiences.
