Punto de Vista presents its new Programming Committee

Punto de Vista presents its new Programming Committee
07/20/2021

Selected by artistic director Manuel Asín and chaired by him, it is to be made up of four leading names in the sector.

Four experts, two women and two men, together with Manuel Asín, are to make up the new Punto de Vista Festival Programming Committee, embarking on a new stage following the appointment of the new artistic director last June.

Lucía Salas, Miguel Zozaya, Lur Olaizola and Pablo García will be working together with Asín to assess and select the films to make up the Official Section of the festival from 2022 to 2025.

In Manuel Asín's words, the new team "brings together diverse, complementary talents from fields like programming, criticism, research and even creation, in all cases with a point of view that is both broad and committed regarding what film-making can be. We hope this will be reflected not only in the films competing, but more widely in the whole festival programme."
