16th edition of Punto de Vista starts today
From 14th to 19th March around 100 films will be shown in more than 60 sessions programmed by the festival, which will also include talks, performances and even a walk along the river Arga.
Key figures at Punto de Vista 2022:
- A total of more than 60 activities and screenings throughout the festival.
- The programme is organised into 7 broad sections: the official selection, Retrospectives, Focus, Lan, Contacts, X Films and the educational programme.
- Around 100 films are to be screened in the different sections.
- More than 20 nationalities will come together at Punto de Vista through films from countries including Japan, France, the United States, Spain, Afghanistan, Italy, Argentina, Bosnia, China, Ireland, the Philippines and Cameroon, among others.
- The films making up the official selection were directed by twelve women film-makers and ten men. They include world premières of Los caballos mueren al amanecer by Ione Atenea and Evangelio mayor by Javier Codesal.
- 6 venues are to host the activities in Punto de Vista 2022: Baluarte, Cines Golem, Museo Oteiza, Filmoteca de Navarra, Civivox Condestable and Katakrak.
From 14 to 19 March, Punto de Vista is the place for documentary film and all its realities to meet up.
