The festival brought together more than 6,500 spectators at the different screenings and other activities run in Pamplona from 14th to 19th March.

Punto de Vista, the international documentary film festival of Navarra, ended its latest edition on Saturday 19th March after six packed days in which it hosted the most stimulating documentary offerings in their different forms. This year began a new stage in its story under artistic director Manuel Asín and a programming committee made up of him plus Lucía Salas, Miguel Zozaya, Lur Olaizola and Pablo García Canga.

The festival, promoted by the government of Navarra and organised entirely by the public company NICDO, brought together over 6,500 attendees this year at the screenings and other activities, at the different host venues: Baluarte, Cines Golem, Museo Oteiza, Filmoteca de Navarra, Red Civivox, Civican and Katakrak. About 80% of the audience was concentrated at Baluarte, the conference centre and auditorium of Navarra, the main venue of the Festival, which at the same time continued to expand by including different venues in Pamplona in order to broaden its programme and reach out to different audiences. Also, before the festival Punto de Vista organised several workshops as part of its educational programme aimed at children and the Jóvenes Programadores x Punto de Vista sessions, an initiative whereby a group of young people were introduced to the job of programming films for a festival.

Punto de Vista attracted a total of more than 435 pass holders. This included more than 215 professionals in the audiovisual field (film-makers, artists, academics, directors and representatives of other festivals and professionals working in production, distribution or programming). The festival in Pamplona also attracted a total of 174 students from different universities and film schools including the Universidad del País Vasco, Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Universidad Pública de Navarra, ECAM (Madrid), Universitat Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona, Universitat Politècnica de València, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Universidad de Navarra, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, ECIB (Barcelona) and Máster LAV (Madrid), among others. Finally, Punto de Vista was attended by more than 60 accredited journalists from local, national and international media.
