Film screenings, talks, performances, meetings with film-makers and sessions for children to take place in Pamplona from 14th to 19th March.

Punto de Vista, to be held in Pamplona from 14th to 19th March, today placed on sale tickets for all sessions at the festival on its website, www.puntodevistafestival.com. The general ticket price will be 3 euros per session, with the exception of a programme to be screened on Saturday 19th March at the Oteiza museum, which will cost 8 euros and include a transfer service from Baluarte. This year's festival also opts to be family-friendly by setting up the Punto de Vista Daycare: The Red Balloon. This means there will be a place for children between six months and twelve years old, open to both festival pass holders and the general public on 17th, 18th and 19th March. Places can be booked now on the website.

For a week, Punto de Vista will be at the epicentre of the international audiovisual community, with several venues: Baluarte, Cines Golem, Museo Oteiza, Filmoteca de Navarra, Red Civivox and Katakrak. Film screenings, meetings with film-makers, performances, documentary film sessions for children and the Official Selection will be taking place at the festival's different venues. Among other content, highlights include the retrospective devoted to the beginnings of documentary film in Morocco and another about life around rivers.

The official Punto de Vista programme will be organised in seven broad sections: the Official Selection, which includes the films selected from the nearly 800 entries from countries all over the world; Retrospectives, which will consider essential non-fiction topics; Artists in focus, monographic sessions where Punto de Vista focuses on some of the most important film-makers on the international scene; the Educational Programme, which continues to open up the festival to new audiences; Lan (Basque for "work"), which features a series of public activities about creative and production processes; Contactos, placing film in contact with other forms of art and thought; and the X Films project, which invites new film-makers to submit a proposal to shoot a film to be premièred at next year's festival.

Punto de Vista, the international documentary film festival of Navarra, is backed by the government of Navarra and organised entirely by the public company NICDO.
