The eighteenth edition of the festival is to be held in Pamplona from 11th to 16th March 2024
Colectivo Silencio’s El polvo ya no nubla nuestros ojos wins the Grand Prize for Best Film in a list of films directed mostly by female filmmakers
From 27th March to 1st April around 100 films will be shown in more than 65 sessions programmed by the festival, which will also include encounters with film-makers, workshops, performances and screenings for children.
Tickets for all sessions of the festival are now on sale to the general public, on its website and at the Baluarte box office.
Film screenings, talks, performances, meetings with film-makers and sessions for children to take place in Pamplona from 27th to 1st April.
A programme featuring the didactic side of Rossellini and Godard-Miéville's work, the performances by Deneb Martos at the Pamplona planetarium and by Ibon RG at the Museo Oteiza, as well as a screening with live music of the recently-restored La Montagne infidèle by Jean Epstein, make up the latest programme to be announced for the festival
This section will include sessions with the presence of the filmmakers in Termitas and Paisaia, the presentation of conclusions on the residence of the researcher Catarina Boieiro and the visual artist Candela Sotos, the presentation of the dossier titled Súper 8 contra el grano, and the presentation of professional activities (Napardocs) and projects (DokLab)
The series will have six sections accompanied by particular colloquia that will take place in the Golem Yamaguchi cinema during the festival week
The festival will organise a special session for the screening of the film Kusatori kusagami (The Grasscutter´s Tale) by the Japanese director Fukuda Katsuhiko. Ana Poliak and Pascale Bodet will also show a large part of their filmography in a number of sessions
The jury for the X Films project consists of Gloria Vilches, Marian Fernández Pascal and Ramiro Ledo
