Radio 3 concerts and programmes including live music are to be rounded off with sessions by Dayanna, Leeharvey and /Göo!
Punto de Vista announces the musical programme which, as in previous years, will complement the packed bill of documentary films at the festival, to be held from 24th February to 1st March in Pamplona. The event will therefore be featuring a series of concerts, DJ sessions and radio programmes with live music. These activities are supported by the Navarre Music Commission, the bar Txintxarri and Radio 3.
With the aim of highlighting musical talent in Navarre, different artists will be appearing during the festival at the bar Txintxarri and at Baluarte. The programme kicks off in Txintxarri on Tuesday 25th February with DJ Diana Villar, better known as Dayanna, with Club, EBM, Dark Wave and ambient beats. The next day the booth will be taken over by Leeharvey, the stage name of Oswald Tanco, combining disco music with pop, Chicago house and indie hits. On Thursday 27th there will be a double bill with a concert by Rig3l, a musical project by the young artist Yoni Salaberría, whose characteristic trap in Basque with Autotune is mixed with electric guitars, dark synthesisers and electronic percussions; and a session by /Göo!, a regular face on the Navarrese and Spanish circuits with sounds ranging from house and disco to breakbeat and world music. The weekend begins with pop-rock band Juárez, who on Friday 28th will be presenting their latest album El ciclo del sol y el fin de los días. This concert, organised by the bar Txintxarri, will be followed by an Artista Invitado session before the close of the festival on Saturday 1st March with a concert by Cerdiloop. Tickets to the Rig3l session will be free and are available at Bacantix. Tickets for Juárez can be purchased at Wegow, and the DJ sessions will be free, until the venue is full.
Also, Radio 3 returns to Punto de Vista with various Tres en la Carretera programmes, the broadcaster's weekend cultural magazine directed and presented by Isabel Ruiz Lara. The journalist will be alternating interviews with the film makers taking part in the festival and performances by Edu Errea and Olaia Inziarte. The programmes are to be recorded on Wednesday 26th February and Thursday 27th at 6.00pm in the Baluarte hall, with free entrance open to the public until full.
The festival, which has just put on sale tickets for the general public through the daily programme on the website, continues to go from strength to strength as a cultural landmark in Navarre, with a packed national and international programme of screenings, just a year away from its twentieth anniversary.
