Opening call for the submission of film proposals for the Official Section of the 21st edition of Punto de Vista Festival
The deadline for the submission of films for the International Documentary Film Festival of Navarra will be the 15th of October
Pamplona, 2 July 2026.- Punto de Vista, a festival promoted by the Department of Culture of the Government of Navarre and organised by NICDO, has opened the call for film submissions to the Official Section of its 21st edition, which will take place in Pamplona from 9 to 14 March 2027.
The Official Section of Punto de Vista is open to documentary films of any nationality, with no limitations with regard to the theme, duration and original language. Eligible works must have been completed after August 1st, 2025. Fiction films, institutional or advertising productions, as well as news reports or works of a strictly journalistic nature, are not eligible.
The submission period closes on 15 October 2026 at 23:59. The entry fee is 5€, and entries must be submitted through the festival website, where a form has been provided to enter films.
The committee will announce which films have been selected this coming January. Their task will be to select films in line with the ideas and guidelines on quality and creativity that form the basis of the festival:

In the coming months, an International Jury will be appointed, made up of experts and professionals from the sector. This jury will announce its decision during the celebration of the closing gala ceremony of the International Documentary Film Festival of Navarra, Punto de Vista 2027.

This sets in motion in a new edition of Punto de Vista, which aims once again to represent the apex of documentary film-making. As in last year's edition, this meeting between filmmakers and their audience spotlights the audiovisual productions that, regardless of origin or topic, present an innovative way of seeing reality through documentary film.
