Stefan Ivančić (Yugoslavia, 1985) lived in Barcelona for 18 years, where he graduated in Mechanical Engineering. In 2009, he returned to his native Belgrade and graduated in Film Directing in 2013. Member of FIPRESCI, he has written film reviews for Spanish and Serbian magazines, and was a founding member and chief editor of the specialised websites Lumière and Contrapicado. He has worked on several joint books about the film industry and has worked as a programmer and editor of publications at the Cinema City International Film Festival Novi Sad (Serbia), the Pančevo Film Festival (Serbia) and the Las Palmas International Film Festival in Gran Canaria. He has made the short films Soles de primavera (2013), 1973 (2014) and Moonless Summer (2014), which have been selected at international festivals, such as Cannes, Rotterdam, Torino, San Sebastian, Seville or L’Alternativa Barcelona. He is currently producing the feature film, The Load by Ognjen Glavonić.
