David Arratibel

Marina Díaz LópezDavid Arratibel is an advertiser and filmmaker. Graduate from the School of Arts and Crafts, he has worked as creative and strategic director for different firms. Since 2008, he has been developing a documentary project in the form of a filmed diary, entitled Inventaryo. In 2009, he tackled a documentary project on the death of his grandfather, called Un sombrero y un chip. Neither of these works has been released. In 2013, he made Oírse, selected at numerous national and international festivals, and which took away the Best Medium-length Film at Alcances 2013, among other awards. He is currently working on Converso: Conversations with my Family, a documentary-musical about a church organ, family and faith.

Jorge Tur

Jorge TurJorge Tur is a filmmaker and coordinator of the Master’s Degree in Creative Documentary Theory and Practice at the Autonomous University of Barcelona-UAB. His film, Dime quién era Sanchicorrota (Tell me, who was Sanchicorrota?), was the winning project in the Punto de Vista Festival’s X Films 2012. He has also made other films, such as De función; Castillo; Si yo fuera tú, me gustarían los Cicatriz; Diario ruso and Ja arriba el temps de remenar les cireres. He has recently formed part of the committee that awards the subsidies of the Cinematography Development Fund (Proimágenes Colombia) for the Project Writing section. His next film, which is still in the editing phase, is called Si la toma está bien, ¿para qué hacemos otra?

Jara Yáñez

María ZamoraJara Yáñez is a graduated in History of Art from the Autonomous University of Madrid, where she later obtained a Doctorate in the History of Film. She is currently editor of the Caimán Cuadernos de Cine magazine and contributes to other publications, such as Secuencias, L’Atalante and Rinconete by the Cervantes Institute. She was a member of the Documenta Madrid Advisory Committee until 2012 and has been a member of the Alcalá de Henares Film Festival Selection Committee since 2011. She is the author of the book, The Arithmetic of Creation. Interviews with Contemporary Spanish Film Producers (in conjunction with Luis L. Carrasco, Alcine, 2009) and editor of The Measure of Time. Spanish short stories in the Noughties (Alcine, 2010). She has also coordinated the book Spanish Film for the New Century. The Contemporary Look (Tesalónica, 2007). In 2014, she curated the Sin que tu lo sepas Aprender en cualquier momento, en cualquier lugar children’s film cycle for the Reina Sofía Museum and lectures in courses on film reviews.
