This is the premise of Icemeltland Park, a chilling geographical puzzle about climate change. Italian filmmaker Liliana Colombo imaginatively and sarcastically remixes the joyful destruction of the globe, transformed through selfies and smiles into an apocalyptic theme park.
One Minute to Zero, by French filmmaker, visual artist and programmer Oliver Dutel, is a spectacular sonic and visual event. A fabulous collection of digital videos of raves from across the globe -India, Mexico, Brazil and England- is refilmed on 16 mm. Dazzling colours explode in the middle of the night, and the roar of the sound systems makes the celluloid vibrate. An astonishing remix of music, dance, fire and explosions, collective abandon before the final hour strikes.
