A total of nineteen films —seven feature films, one medium-length film, and eleven short films— made in America, Asia, Europe, and Africa. Four world premeires, one international premiere, and fourteen national premieres compete for the festival's awards: the Punto de Vista Grand Award for Best Film, the Jean Vigo Award for Best Director, the Best Short Award, and the Special Audience and Youth Awards for the Best Film.

As in previous editions, Punto de Vista will put together its own Youth Jury for the twentieth edition of the festival, which will be held in Pamplona from 20 to 25 April 2026. Young people between 18 and 25 who so wish can now enter for a place on the jury to select the film in the Official Selection deserving of the Youth Prize for Best Film. This award will be presented by the jury itself at the closing gala Punto de Vista will hold on Saturday 25 April at the Baluarte auditorium in Pamplona.
The Selection Committee for the Official Selection is integrated by Miquel Martí Freixas, Inés Calero, Ekhiñe Etxeberria, Antonio Miguel Arenas and Margot Mecca.
The 20th edition of the festival will be held in Pamplona from 2 to 7 March 2026.
The registration period for films in the Official Selection will remain open until 15 September 2025. Documentary films of any nationality made after 1 August 2023 are eligible to participate. Punto de Vista does not accept fiction, institutional or advertising films, or reports or works of a strictly journalistic or purely journalistic nature. There are no limitations in terms of subject matter, length, or original language.
Films that have been released in Spanish commercial cinemas, commercially edited or broadcast by any Spanish television channel, or that will be released before the end of the festival, are not accepted.
