Sinopsis
A shaman’s mystical invocations to cure Mexico, a protest of furious electricians on hunger strike and an euphoric football crowd collide in the Zocalo, the country’s central square and site of the ancient Aztec ceremonial temple. Mitote (Nahuatl for chaos or celebration) turns the square into a battlefield, epicentre of a symbolic earthquake, in which alienating advertising rituals, national commemorations and the remains of the pre-hispanic cultures reveal the face of an enraged country.
