In 1972, in one of his most well-known articles, Pier Paolo Pasolini talked about the disappearance of fireflies. A few months later he was assassinated. From then onwards, fireflies have continued to disappear. But there are still people who remember them.

Vitoria-Gasteiz, 1988. She was awarded a degree in Audiovisual Communications by the Universidad de Barcelona and then went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Creation and Investigation in Art from the Universidad del País Vasco. She has directed a number of short films, both solo and as part of the group Las Chicas de Pasaik, which were screened at festivals such as Zinemalida in San Sebastian, Malaga, Sevilla, L'Alternativa in Barcelona, Filmadrid and Zinebi in Bilbao. In addition to her work at the Contemporary Culture Centre Tabakalera in Donostia, she also collaborates in the organisation of the LUPA Documentary Film Exhibition and teaches classes at the Larrotxene Cultural Centre.
